Santorini one of the most well known islands of the Cyclades,
differs from the other islands of the group thanks to its
geological morphology which is a result of a volcano now
dormant. Towering cliffs crowned by tiny and blindingly-white
houses plunge straight into the depths of the sea. Santorini
is a site of great arceological interest which was occupied
by Romans and Byzantines.
